Convert Image to PDF
Combine your JPG, PNG, WEBP and other images into one PDF. Reorder, rotate and download in seconds. Your images never leave your device.
How to convert images to PDF step by step
- Choose your images. Drag them onto the box, click to browse, or paste with Ctrl+V right after taking a screenshot. On a phone you can pick them from your gallery.
- Put them in order. Each image becomes a page. Drag the thumbnails until they're in the right order.
- Pick the page format. Choose A4 (the standard in most countries), Letter (common in the US and Canada) or "Same as image" if you won't print.
- Download. Click "Convert and download PDF" and the file is saved to your downloads folder.
Supported image formats
- JPG / JPEG: the format of camera and phone photos. Embedded without recompression, so there's no quality loss.
- PNG: ideal for screenshots, charts and logos. Embedded losslessly.
- WEBP: a modern format used by many websites. Converted to high-quality JPG.
- GIF and BMP: older formats. Converted to lossless PNG (animated GIFs use the first frame).
- AVIF: a recent, highly compressed format supported by current browsers.
- HEIC / HEIF: iPhone photos. They can be converted in Safari; in other browsers, export them to JPG first.
Why turn photos into a PDF?
A PDF bundles several images into a single file that looks the same on every device. It's what universities, banks and government offices usually ask for when you send documents scanned with your phone: both sides of an ID card, a certificate, receipts or handwritten homework.
Tips for better results
- Shoot in good light with the document on a dark surface.
- Use margins if you're going to print; many printers can't print to the edge of the page.
- Is the PDF too large? Read why your PDF is so large.
- Need to change the order later? Open the PDF in Reorder PDF.
